Hi Mom,
Today is the one year anniversary of you passing from this earth to a heavenly paradise. One year since you and Dad were together again. I have missed you so much. I'm living in your house and see you and Dad in my heart every time I walk into the house. You have been my best friend and I miss that. I miss your smile, sparkle in your eyes, and giggle when you told me something funny.
Today Judy and I took seven quilts and one afghan to Prairie Senior Living Complex to donate in your memory. Remember all the gingham blocks we cut and sewed together while you lived there? I quilted them to donate. I found a set of tulip blocks in your stash that I put together also. Judy made three quilt tops as well. The people at PSLC even choked up as we talked about you and our desire to share the activities you loved with them. Judy has a lot of pictures of this. Happy Anniversary, Mom!

These three Gingham quilts you and I made while you were living at PSLC.
I found these quilt blocks in a tub of your stash. I put them together into a quilt.
Judy made these last three quilts.
Today we donated those seven quilts and an afghan to Prairie Senior Living Center.
In August I was able to do your proxy temple work. You and Dad were sealed together, both sealed to your parents, and I was sealed to you. After our sealing, the gentleman who stood in proxy for Dad gave me a big hug and said, "This hug is from your Dad" Oh, my. What a spiritual moment! As he hugged me I could see in my mind and heart Dad standing in front of me and he said with a big grin, "Well, you are stuck with us now" and you popped up from behind Dad, looking over his shoulder laughing with joy. I was filled with joy as well. Thank you for that beautiful image in the temple. I love you forever, Mom & Dad!
I pray the angels give you and Dad both a huge hug from me. I'll see you again one day.
All my love always,
